Bible Study at Resurrection Lutheran Church

Adult Education is held on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in Young Fellowship Hall.

Our studies include a variety of topics that typically last 8 to 12 weeks. Studies include books of the Bible, as well as, other topics and books of religious and cultural interest.

Starting November 5, we will begin the video series “How the New Testament Came to Be” and will use the Study Guide that goes with the series. It will run for five Sundays, with a wrap up on the sixth Sunday, and the last session will be December 10. We will take off the rest of December and resume on January 7 with a new topic and a new video series, yet to be chosen.

“How The New Testament Came to Be”

The basic questions facing us as we look at the historical record is quite simple. Why does our Bible have a New Testament comprised of only 27 books? With the help of dozens of original graphics, this study will help us answer this and many other questions surrounding the formation of the New Testament. Join us for videos and study questions. Please bring a folder for your handouts.

Dwelling in the Word is typically held on Mondays (times and dates will be announced in the newsletter and posted on the calendar).

Dwelling in the Word is a time of biblical reflection on various biblical passages. The goal is to assist participants in listening to God’s Word and one another in hearing where God is speaking to them in daily life.

Dwelling in the Word is currently on hold due to the busy holiday season ahead of us.
